Since 1946, Dorot Control Valves is a leading developer, manufacturer, and marketer of a wide range of superior quality automatic control valves, air valves, mechanical valves, ultra filtration systems and water meters. DOROT’s experienced Research & Development Department has a long tradition of generating innovative solutions for the application of water control systems. These include: waterworks distribution networks, sewage and effluent disposal, fire protection , mining , and irrigation systems.

The experts at Dorot custom-design each valve application according to specific control requirements. Most of the production process, which includes, machining and coating, takes place in modern in-house facilities. Before leaving the factory, each product is hydraulically tested. An advanced testing laboratory simulates the anticipated field conditions.

With distribution in more than 70 countries world-wide, a key component of the Dorot Control Valves difference is its outstanding customer service. This includes field assistance, technical advice, training programs and follow-up consultations.

Recently, Dorot Control Valves signed a contract to supply Air Releasers to a major desalination plant in Australia. The new plant will be based on reverse osmosis technology – a modern process technology used for desalinating water in a wide range of applications. The plant will provide 140,000 cubic meters/day (50 million cubic meters/year) of high quality desalinated process and drinking water, using innovative technologies implemented by IDE Technologies ltd.

This project is one of the most complex in the world and one of the largest of its kind. The quality of the feed water and compliance with the rigid and meticulous standards of the local industry necessitates more precise and complex treatment than in similar installations elsewhere.
