MDNA- Madonna world tour debuting in Israel

Madonna opened yesterday (Thursday, 31 May) her MDNA world tour  performing in Israel’s Ramat Gan Stadium to a 30,000 fans.

 4,000 tourists and scores of foreign journalists have arrived in Israel for the sell-out performance

This is the Queen of Pop’s fourth performance in Israel. Her first show was in 1993, and Madonna closed her last world tour, “Sticky & Sweet” with two performances in Israel in 2009. Madonna also visited Israel in 2004 and 2007 on private pilgrimages, along with other Kabbalah devotees. The pop star, who has been dabbling in Kabbalah, a form of Jewish mysticism, for more than a decade and has taken on a Hebrew name, Esther, also found time in her busy schedule to visit the Kabala Center in Tel Aviv.
