Network storage giant appoints weathered scientist, businesswoman Dr. Orna Berry to chair center of excellence in Israel

One of the world’s largest network storage companies, EMC, has appointed an Israeli woman to be its new vice president.

Dr. Orna Berry, formerly the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Labor’s chief scientist and chairwoman of the Israel Venture Association, will also run the company’s center of excellence in Israel.

“It’s part of EMC’s strategic decision to expand its operations in Israel,” Berry told Mammon Magazine. “The company has some very successful operations here due to a number of purchases it made. The management in Israel is very well-considered, as well as the communications with the company abroad.”
