Israeli Food featured in SMH Good Food Guide

The Sydney Morning Herald recently published in its Good Food Shopping Guide,  a unique Israeli food as one of it’s top “Flavours of a Secret Sydney”. The SMH described Silan, a sugary syrup derived from dates from the Dead Sea area, as one of its recommended food international food item.

“Silan is a date syrup produced in Israel around the Dead Sea. It is exceptional on porridge or bircher muesli, or use it in desserts. Find it at Starks, Grandma Moses and Krinsky’s in the Bondi kosher belt.”

Israel has a long history of producing high quality and great tasting dates, and silan is a product that continues this great tradition.
