For the fifth consecutive year, the Mediterranean International Wine & Spirit Challenge known as Terravino 2010, will be held in Israel,  21-27 November 2010, bringing to an end the round of international wine competitions around the world under the patronage of OIV (International Organization of Wine and Vine) that began in Paris in February. The competition, which will be held at the Daniel Dead Sea Hotel, offers an important platform for international exposure to Israeli wines.

Over 700 wines and spirits from 25 countries will compete in this prestigious competition, including many of the leading wine-producing countries such as France, Italy, Spain, Germany, USA, Australia and South Africa – a testament to the growing importance and esteem in which the Israeli wine industry is held. 30 of the world’s most important wine judges will participate in the competition which will last three days (21-23 November).
