Intel developing next generation Netbook processor in Jerusalem

Cedarview is considered the next generation to Intel’s Atom processor architecture.

While Intel Corporation’s (Nasdaq: INTC) new Sandy Bridge architecture, developed at Intel Israel‘s Haifa R&D center, has drawn most attention, the company is keeping future developments close to its chest. The next big thing that will emerge from Intel Israel is apparently the new Netbook processor, Cedarview. This processor, apparently being developed at Intel Israel‘s Jerusalem center, is considered the next generation to Intel’s Atom processor architecture.
Intel did not elaborate.
