The Tower of David in Jerusalem’s is one of the most iconic and best-known sites in the capital, attracting hundreds of thousands of tourists each year. The ancient tower is situated on the seam of Jerusalem’s old and new cities and stands as a symbol uniting 4000 thousand years of history with today. Following this theme, The Tower of David Museum has recently launched the longest timeline on Facebook, dating back 1099 years, it would go back 4000 years but Facebook doesn’t currently go back that far

The Tower of David Timeline is rich in events recorded by photography, film, drawings and illustrations recounting the history of the Tower at the entrance to the Old City of Jerusalem, which in turns tells the story of the city itself. Kings, princes and generals are all part of the history of Tower, as well as the stories of the regular pilgrim, be that from the Crusaders, to the pilgrims that enter the city from every corner of the earth today

The Museum’s Facebook page provides an exciting experience which recounts the story of Jerusalem, and shows the museum as a central cultural institution in the life of the city of Jerusalem today
